Why UF?
My senior year of high school I was very uncertain as to what my future would look like. If I were to go to college I knew I wanted to go somewhere competitive. I also wanted to continue dancing as I was not ready to give that up. I attended a Dazzlers clinic and had immediate feeling as to this was where I was meant to be. The University of Florida had both the things I longed for; academics and an amazing dance team. I am ready to see my future unfold here at this school and on this team.What movie character do you relate to and why?
A movie character I can relate to is Moana. Not only is she a part of my heritage/culture, but her adventurous and determined personality is something I relate with. She loves to be a free-spirit but is determined to not be labeled and put in a box. She also holds her family close to her heart as motivation to why she does what she does. My family is my biggest support system, and I owe much of my success to them.What legacy do you hope to leave for future Dazzlers?
The legacy I hope to leave for the future of the Dazzlers is maintaining our individuality while being a cohesive team. I feel it is important to bring our true selves as dancers and people to the team and create a diverse team.
