Why UF?
UF was by far the best opportunity for me both academically and athletically, where I can continue my passion for dance and expand on my skillsets both as a leader and a student. The campus is also close to home for me, which is ideal because my family is what I value the most.What movie character do you relate to and why?
The movie character that I have been told I am most like is Vanellope Von Schweetz from Wreck-It-Wralph! She is super extroverted and wants to be friends with everyone! She is also super energetic and doesn’t take herself too seriously which are things I feel like I can see in myself.What legacy do you hope to leave for future Dazzlers?
The legacy I hope to leave on both the Dazzlers now and those to come would be a feeling of both encouragement and joy. I want people to feel like they are loved simply because they are a part of this program, and I am hopeful to see this team achieve nothing but greatness, which hopefully I can play even just a tiny role in achieving. A goal that our current team has set for ourselves is to educate people about not only who we are, but why we do what we do, and I am hopeful to see future Dazzlers receive the recognition and appreciation for all the hard work that they pour into it, as well as us who have been lucky enough to be on the team before them. I adore the Dazzlers, of course, for the dancing, but more for the people.
