Why UF?
University of Florida was always my dream school and I could never imagine myself anywhere else! My older sister is a UF alumni and she has always been my biggest inspiration! My twin sister is also here, and having the opportunity to continue doing life alongside her is such a blessing. UF is a top ranked public university, so it has always been my top choice academically. The high academic standard initially gained my attention when envisioning what I wanted for my future, but the campus, community, and Dazzlers is what made me certain! The Dazzlers fosters such a warm sense of family and unity, and the University of Florida contains a pride unlike anything I’ve ever had the privilege of experiencing. I am so lucky to call myself a Florida Gator!What movie character do you relate to and why?
I would say a movie character I relate to is Belle from Beauty and the Beast! I am overachieving, independent, hardworking, a book lover, and can be a little stubborn at times. But, once you get to know me, I am loving, compassionate, and gentle. She has such a heart for those with which she builds relationships, has a desire to know who people are on the inside, and always tries to see the best in everyone. She has such a heart and love for her family and would do anything to protect them and see them succeed.What legacy do you hope to leave for future Dazzlers?
The legacy I hope to continue building upon is the joy, family, and fulfillment that comes with being a part of this program! I wish for every current and future member to feel loved and worthy of being here. This team overflows with the most humble, service-oriented, love-filled, hardworking, and gracious dancers and leaders. The family that this team cultivates and the support from which it stems is inspiring. My wish for this team is to stand firm on that foundation and to never compromise who they are for anything! We are so much more than dancers on the sidelines, we are a team of encouragers, leaders, hard workers, and sisters.
