Why UF?

I chose to attend UF because of how well-rounded the school is as a whole. The academic prestige and rigor initially drew me in, and the more I learned about the school, the more I fell in love. Being part of a top-five school, I knew I would be challenged and intellectually stimulated not only in an academic setting but in all aspects of life and diversity. The UF spirit is like no other, and being a part of Dazzlers has only enhanced the passion and pride I have for this school. Having the opportunity to be a part of Dazzlers has been the best experience I've had here at UF because it's allowed me to continue pursuing my passion for dance, as well as fully embrace the Florida Gator spirit and grow as an individual and team player.

One thing Gator Nation doesn't know about you is...

I am the oldest of seven siblings! I have one sister and five brothers, one of whom plays the snare drum in the Gator Marching Band!

What legacy do you hope to leave for future Dazzlers?

Looking back to my first year, my goal for my time on the team has remained the same. My main priority has been to create an environment of love and friendship, and do my best everyday to have a spirit of altruism. Every time I show up for the team I strive to serve my teammates to the best of my ability. I have fostered a relationship with every girl on the team and grown so close to each of them that they are my reason to show up and give my all regardless of how I'm feeling because it is less about me and more about we. I aspire to continue approaching this team with an attitude of servitude and putting my teammates first, and I hope to instill this fundamental value in the program to continue for years to come.
